Chipotle’s Burrito Vault: Double Protein Edition game is making a comeback, returning for its third year on March 30, 2026, with over $2 million in prizes available for Chipotle Rewards members.
The game introduces a new gameplay mode called Double Protein Power Hour, where players can win free burritos for a year, BOGO entrees, and double protein rewards. Participants can engage in the game from March 30 to April 1, 2026, between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. ET.
Last year, the Burrito Vault saw an impressive 3.5 million plays, showcasing its popularity among fans. “With more than 3.5 million plays last year, Burrito Vault generated record-breaking engagement with our fans,” said Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle’s Chief Marketing Officer.
Players will have four attempts each hour to guess the exact burrito order combination, with the vault code resetting every hour to offer a new batch of prizes. During the Double Protein Power Hour, the number of prizes is doubled, and all rewards include double protein.
On April 2, 2026, coinciding with National Burrito Day, Chipotle will also offer a $0 delivery fee on digital orders, further enticing fans to participate in the festivities.
Chipotle Rewards members earn 10 points for every $1 spent, enhancing their chances of winning during the game. The first player to unlock the vault will win free burritos for a year during regular gameplay.
