United Airlines has announced a groundbreaking new seating option called the United Relax Row, designed to enhance passenger comfort on long-haul flights. This innovative row of economy seats can transform into a couch, allowing travelers to stretch out during their journeys.
The United Relax Row is set to launch in 2027 and will be available on more than 200 Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft by 2030. This makes United the first North American airline to offer such a unique seating arrangement, holding exclusive rights to the design in the region.
The Relax Row consists of a dedicated row of three seats, each equipped with individually adjustable leg rests. Passengers traveling in this section will also receive additional amenities, including a custom-fitted mattress pad and extra pillows, enhancing their overall travel experience.

Families can also pre-order meals on select flights where complimentary meals are served, along with a curated section of inflight entertainment tailored for children.
