Christopher received an impressive 79.45% of the votes, outperforming fellow nominees, including Chriszaven Jones, a senior at Pensacola High School who garnered 20.19% of the votes. Dymond Carthon, a ninth-grade student, was also recognized for her dedication and responsibility in school, expressing her aspirations to become a cosmetologist upon graduation.
In addition to celebrating student achievements, the community of Santa Rosa is grappling with the unsettling disappearance of 15-year-old Adriana Hernandez. An Amber Alert was issued for her on April 7, 2026, as authorities continue their search. Hernandez is described as a white-Hispanic girl with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5’1″ tall and weighing 130 pounds.
