This season will consist of six episodes, with the first three episodes debuting simultaneously on the premiere date, followed by weekly releases leading up to December 6.
Season 6 promises to delve into the profound events of Good Friday, culminating in the crucifixion of Christ. Creator and executive producer Dallas Jenkins emphasized the importance of exploring not just the events, but the reasons behind them, stating, “Everyone knows the basics of this part of the story, but not everyone knows the ‘why’ of the crucifixion and the extraordinary events of these 24 hours.”
