Trevor Bauer threw a no-hitter for the Long Island Ducks in a 13-0 victory over the Lancaster Stormers.

This performance comes as Bauer’s second start in the United States since 2021. He threw 84 pitches, striking out seven hitters while walking one.

Bauer has posted an impressive 1.64 ERA to start the season in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.

Previously, Bauer faced a suspension of 324 games due to sexual assault allegations, later reduced to 184 games.

His last appearance in Major League Baseball was on June 28, 2021. Since then, he pitched in Japan and Mexico.

Bauer signed with the Long Island Ducks earlier this month. His first start for the team was on April 21, 2026.

In his debut for the Ducks, he allowed five hits and three walks while striking out eight batters.

Still maintaining his innocence regarding the allegations against him, Bauer settled with one accuser while another faces serious legal issues.

After the game, Bauer expressed excitement: “I’m looking forward to competing in front of U.S. fans again this season.” He added that he missed playing baseball in his home country.

An AL team scout remarked on his performance: “He showed flashes of the guy he used to be and a guy who can help a club.”

As observers watch closely, many wonder how this comeback will impact perceptions around him—especially given his controversial past.

Bauer’s journey back to baseball continues as fans eagerly anticipate his next outings with the Long Island Ducks.
