Adria Hight Dies at 56, Leaving a Legacy in Drag Racing

Adria Force Hight, the oldest daughter of 16-time NHRA Funny Car champion John Force, died on April 28, 2026, at the age of 56. Her passing marks a significant loss for both her family and the drag racing community.

Adria joined John Force Racing shortly after graduating from Huntington Beach High School. She became one of its first employees and played a pivotal role in shaping the organization.

As Chief Financial Officer, Adria was instrumental in transforming John Force Racing into a powerhouse in motorsports. Her tireless work ethic and sharp business acumen contributed greatly to the team’s success.

She is survived by her daughter Autumn Hight, mother Lana Starks, father John Force, fiancé Jimmy Collins, and siblings Ashley, Brittany, and Courtney. Her burial took place at Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Adria was preceded in death by her grandparents Gracey and C.N. Bonee and Betty and Bill Force. Private services were held per her wishes.

Observers note that Adria was a cornerstone of one of drag racing’s most storied families and organizations. Her contributions will resonate within the sport for generations.

“Her tireless work ethic, sharp business acumen, and quiet dedication helped transform a small family operation into a powerhouse,” said a close associate.
