The Cyber Interceptor is a new tool designed for resource-constrained contractors. It aims to simplify compliance with CMMC Level 2 requirements—an essential step for defense contractors to secure DoD contracts.
Approximately 68,000 small and mid-sized DIB suppliers face these Level 2 compliance requirements. The Cyber Interceptor will launch in late April 2026.
Vince Crisler noted that the Cyber Interceptor provides each contractor with their own individual cyber dome. Observers expect this initiative will significantly enhance cybersecurity posture among defense contractors.
