MSC Cruises is set to launch MSC World Asia in December 2026, introducing a floating amusement park at sea that will include Europe’s first over-water swing.

The ship will feature various attractions designed for family entertainment. Highlights include the Cliffhanger, an innovative over-water swing, and The Harbour, which will boast a ropes course, waterslides, and the longest dry slide at sea.

Additionally, the Family Aventura District will combine outdoor attractions with immersive indoor entertainment spaces. This development reflects a growing trend within the cruise industry toward all-ages experiences.

Currently, MSC Cruises operates 23 ships that sail to over 300 destinations across five continents. The new ship will offer seven-night Mediterranean itineraries with stops in major cities like Barcelona, Naples, and Rome.

Steve Leatham from MSC Cruises stated, “As a family-owned company, MSC Cruises knows what it takes to keep the whole family happy on holiday.” This focus on family-friendly activities aims to enhance guest experiences significantly.

The expansion promises bigger and bolder family entertainment at sea. With a kids club spanning 10,000 square feet, MSC World Asia is poised to redefine cruise vacations for families.

While specifics about onboard pricing and booking details are not yet available, observers anticipate high demand for this innovative cruise experience when it opens.
